Privacy policy

This policy explains what kskapp.com and the apps sold on it, including SaleBill, collect and why. KSK Apps is run by Kaaviya, IN, India. Contact: [email protected]. A product with its own website, such as RemodelFin, has its own privacy policy there.

This website

kskapp.com sets no cookies and uses no analytics or ads. Our server keeps standard access logs (IP address, page and time) for a short time to keep the site secure. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when a page loads.

SaleBill: what we collect

• Owner account: email address, business name, password (stored only as a secure hash).
• Business settings: address, tax number, invoice details and UPI ID, if the owner enters them.
• Sellers: name and mobile number, entered by the owner, and their password (stored only as a hash).
• Business records: items, prices, buying prices, stock movements, sales, invoices, voids and day-end counts.
• Item photos: only if the owner adds a photo to an item. The photo is cut to a small square on the phone and stored with the business's other records. Only people logged in to that business can see it, and it is deleted with the business.
• Camera: used to scan a barcode (the camera view is read on the phone to find the number; nothing is saved or sent) and, if the owner chooses, to take an item photo.
• Technical data: when each phone last connected, needed to show the owner whether a seller's sales have arrived.

We do not collect location, contacts, any other photos or the details of your customers. The app does not show ads and does not track you across other apps or sites.

Why we use it

Only to run the Service for the business: to save and sync sales, keep stock and cash correct, show reports to the owner, send sign-in and password-reset codes, and handle the subscription. Sellers can never see buying prices, costs or profit.

Who else handles data

• Hosting: the data is stored on servers we rent from Hetzner.
• Email: sign-in and reset codes are sent through Resend.
• Payments: Paddle.com processes subscription payments as our Merchant of Record and handles the payment details under its own privacy policy. We never see full card or bank details.

We do not sell or rent your data to anyone.

How long we keep it

As long as the business account exists. Sales records are kept because they are financial records. If you close your account, we delete the business data within 30 days, except what the law requires us to keep.

Security

Connections use HTTPS. Passwords are stored as hashes. Each business can only see its own data. Daily backups are kept so data can be restored after a fault.

Your choices

The owner can ask for a copy of the business data or a correction by writing to [email protected]. To delete the business and all its data, use Settings > Delete business and account in the app, or see how to delete your SaleBill account. Sellers should first ask the owner, who controls their account.
